4/17/06 With heavy hearts we close
Sundays at the Livery Bad news, kids, Sundays at the Livery
are almost over. We had to take a long hard look at what we were
risking and how many people were actually showing up. For a full
explanation, Brian wrote another long winded letter.
Check it here.
11/17/05 The Seventh Annual Anal
Family Christmas Show finds a home. The Alpine has graciously
agreed to host the 7th installment of Blackbird's naughty acoustic
tradition, Anal Family Christmas. We warned them, we showed them
the pictures, we let them listen to the songs and they still said,
"okay." So on Friday, December 23rd, Blackbird sets up shop for
the first time in the brand new Alpine for our annual explosion of
holiday perversion.
9/27/05 The iTunes People invited
us to the party. We've asked politely, we asked again, we
begged and threatened, cried and threw a total fit and finally Apple
approved our application to include the Blackbird Music Catalog in the
iTunes Music Store! It's going to take a few months of processing,
but at some point in the not too distant future you will be able to
purchase songs and albums from Blackbird artists on iTunes! We're
all pretty stoked about this so, we'll keep you posted.
9/15/05 Finally the Reporter gets something

Local Band. That's right! Pick up a copy today and see for

New Le Meu Tune Today on
http://VenturaCountyStar.com,
Check out their daily "Podcast" which is a daily audio feature that
features local news, culture and music. Today's featured song is
Le Meu's "The Focus." Its a unreleased song from Le Meu's new
recordings. If you want to hear a sample of what the new material
sounds like, don't miss this opportunity. You wont be able to hear
this song any where else. You can play the "Podcast" directly on
your computer or download the audio feature to your computer if you sign
up for VenturaCountyStar.com (free, I think). The part where it
features Le Meu is about 2/3rds of the way in. The host, Bruce,
gives a shout out to Blackbird, and a plug four the Blackbird website
and Le Meu's Show this weekend. The Podcasts are archived so you
will be able to listen for weeks to come.
